Marek Zděradička graduated from the Czech Technical University’s Faculty of Transportation in 1999 with a focus on transportation infrastructure. In 2001 he was hired as a transport planner at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development. Following the transformation of the Institute in 2013, he now works as the Section Director for Infrastructure and is chartered by the Czech Chamber of Chartered Engineers and Technicians in Construction (ČKAIT). From 2013 to 2016 he led the Mobility working group in preparing the update of the Strategic Plan of the City of Prague. Since 2011 he has been in charge of drafting and updating the Principles for the Territorial Development of the City of Prague, including its legal defence. He is also involved in preparing the Sustainable Mobility Plan for Prague and the surrounding area as well as other strategic development documents for the Czech capital.
