David Favest holds the function of Marketing Director at STIB, Brussels’ Public Transportation since mid-2015. Born in Uccle in December ’73, David grew up and went to Ste-Mary college in Brabant Wallon, an area in center of Belgium, nearby Brussels, - city where he graduated in HEC (specialization in Marketing & International Sales).
After his education, in 1995, he started a long term traineeship at Xerox, as ODP Product Analyst. He rapidly joined the Automotive Sector as Marketing Analyst and grew up in Product and Pricing Management for DaimlerChrysler BeLux for 5 years. Afterwards, he was appointed as Head of Training for Chrysler Group International’s Marketing Operations at Chrysler’s Headquarters (Detroit, MI, USA) during the fastidious period of product offensive for Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge Brand outside NAFTA. Back on the Benelux market, he was promoted to the position of Head of Marketing Operations BeNeLux for 3-years. After having successfully conducted the 1.5 year company legal merge between Chrysler Group and Fiat Group in both Belgium and the Netherlands, he held several board member positions in the Group finishing at the position of Director of Retail Sales Operations BeLux
