Catherine Trautmann

Catherine Trautmann is past member of National Parliament (1986 to 1988) and European Parliament (1989 to 1997 and 2004 to 2014).

From 1989 to 1997 and from 2000 to 2001 she was Mayoress of Strasbourg and president of the Port of Strasbourg. She came back as president of the Port of Strasbourg since 2008.

She was appointed as Minister of Culture and Communications (1997 to 2000) and she’s now a member of Strasbourg’s city council as well as Vice President of Strasbourg Eurométropole in charge of economical development and international attractivity.

Since October 2014, Catherine Trautmann is the new European Coordinator for the North Sea-Baltic core network corridor.
