Roman Srp

Roman Srp is an electronic communications engineer with 20 years of experience. He graduated from the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague, Faculty of Electrotechnical Engineering in 1992. In 1992 – 1995 he worked at CTU's Department of Radio Engineering of the CTU Prague, and in 1995 – 2009 he was executive director of a private company providing technical and media consulting. In 2006 he was elected Vice-President of ITS&S, and since 2010 he has been the Executive Director of ITS&S.

Roman is on the National ITS Advisory Committee to the Czech Minister of Transport, and is a member of the Scientific Committee at CTU's Faculty Transportation Sciences. Between 2014 - 2018 Roman was elected Chairman of ITS Nationals, the network of national ITS associations hosted by ERTICO – ITS Europe.
