Martin Joseph Barry

Martin is a former Fulbright Scholar to the Czech Republic where he taught landscape architecture and urbanism at FA CTU in Prague. He is the Founding Director of reSITE, a ground-breaking organization based in Prague and New York that is focused on collaborative design partnerships for more livable cities. Martin is also an Associate at W Architecture and Landscape Architecture in New York, where he is leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex landscape projects all over the globe. His specialization in design is the enhancement and revitalization of urban waterfronts and he has collaborated on urban parks, plazas and universities in New York City, Saudi Arabia, China, United Arab Emirates, Haiti, Canada and Mexico. Central to Martin‘s vision is an eagerness to maintain, respect and reveal local environments and cultures with an underlying theme of sustainable urbanity.
