Luc Y. Tremblay

Luc Y. Tremblay directs major studies at the Société de transport de Montreal, in a variety of technical and operational fields. Regarding energy efficiency, his studies led to the introduction of articulated buses in the bus fleet, the use of biodiesel fuel blends for diesel buses and the use of diesel electric hybrid motorization for all non-electric bus purchases starting in 2013. He currently leads an electric midibus acquisition project for customer service starting in January 2014, an opportunity charge electric bus project and a feasibility study on the potential introduction of a network of approximately 100 articulated trolleybuses in Montreal in the near future.
