Michal is a researcher at the Transport Research Centre (CDV).

He graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague’s Faculty of Transportation Sciences in January 2004 with a degree in transportation infrastructure. His thesis was on the development of Prague’s integrated transportation network in the Prague-West district. After graduating he became a researcher at CDV. He is part of a team investigating rail, combined and integrated transport and has contributed to processing the documentation for expert assessments of railway transportation structures for the Ministry of Transportation and State Transport Infrastructure Fund (SFDI) and assessments of road structures for the SFDI. At the international level, he is involved in COST and CityHUB research projects focused on public transportation and its interactions with the region.
