Martina Kirchrathová

As Commerce Development Director at MasterCard Europe, Martina Kirchrathová is responsible for communicating with commercial partners and developing the acceptance network, so card holders can use their cards at the greatest possible number of businesses. She is also expanding partnerships in the field of innovation and introducing new opportunities for making payments with MasterCard.

Martina Kirchrathová came to MasterCard after seven years at Telefónica Czech Republic, where she was responsible for corporate customer care. She led a corporate sales team and aimed to continuously strengthen the customer portfolio to not only maximise revenues, but also increase customer satisfaction. Her strategy was primarily based on building long-term relationships and making consulting-based sales. She studied adult education, psychology, sociology and education at the University of Jan Amos Komenský in Prague, earning her BA in adult education. She started her career at Český Telecom while still a student.

In her free time Martina Kirchrathová enjoys coaching and educational projects. She relaxes with friends and family, ideally outdoors or playing sports. She enjoys golf, tennis, sailing and long walks with her dog. She also enjoys spending her free time travelling and attending cultural events.
