Michal Ulrich

Michal Ulrich graduated in Regional Geography from the Faculty of Science at the Charles University in Prague.

Since 2011, he has worked in the EU Funds Department at the Czech Ministry of Transport. He is also the secretary of the Commission for Assessing Urban Mobility Policy Documents. In addition, he is involved with evaluating the economic efficiency of projects, evaluating transport programmes and strategies and the relationship between transportation services and regional development.

He has applied his extensive experience with urban mobility issues in the development and implementation of the Transport Operational Programme for 2014-2020, which attaches great importance to the development of urban rail infrastructure and telematic instruments for urban road traffic. Michal is also involved with coordinating municipal projects and how these fit into the framework of Integrated Territorial Investments (ITIs) and Integrated Territorial Development Plans (ITDPs).
